Albany Waves

Albany Waves Luxury Beach Houses are located 5 minutes from Albany’s city centre and just 100 metres from the sheltered shores of Albany’s main swimming beach, Middleton Beach which offers 5 kilometres of pristine fine white sandy beaches for swimming and other recreational beach activities. Protected by King George Sound, the Southern Ocean’s waves do not usually reach these sheltered waters making it ideal for families.

Middleton Beach also provides an easily accessible location for viewing Southern Right and Humpback whales during their annual migration to the Southern Ocean. Whales enter the bay to rest and can sometimes be seen as close as 20–30 metres from the shore or frolicking out in the deeper waters of the bay.

It is the home of the iconic Middleton Beach Boardwalk – 3kms of boardwalk perfect for walking or cycling, beginning at the Beachside Cafe to meander past Ellen Cove and follow the coastline as far as Anzac Peace Park and the City of Albany.

Situated in the heart of one of Australia’s premier wine regions, there are many great family friendly wineries and breweries, as well as historic pubs, cafès and restaurants.  Bespoke boutiques, galleries and local artisans abound and coupled with Albany’s award-winning Entertainment Centre form a creative scene that is taking the world by storm.

Spend the day shopping in the large assortment of retail stores or indulge yourself with a relaxing massage at one of the many local beauty salons and Day Spas.

Expand your horizons and explore some of the most amazing natural environment in and around Albany. Follow the rugged coastline to The Gap; an enormous 24 metre drop to sea level where waves rush in and out with tremendous ferocity.  Complimenting The Gap is the Natural Bridge, an incredibly beautiful arch formed in a large span eroded granite.
